Performance

There are many different pipelines under NPW PAS LDS protection today. They vary in length and diameter, carried media type, number of installed stations and their distances, operating pressure. PAS LDS always detects leaks from holes of 1/100 of pipeline diameter and above.

Following detection results are based on real trial leaks, executed the way of opening a calibrated trial aperture for specified time and then registering leak alarm time and leak location accuracy. Trial leaks are performed during the process of SAT / ISAT and later on a regular basis, depending on customer rules of pipeline maintenance, this time with or without PAS presence on site.
